Mind Gamers - Film
Imagine if you will, the ability to hook up to a head device that will allow you to share, exchange and experience the thoughts of not only one person but a group of people all simultaneously. Agree with it or not, scientists are seriously working on the technology to do this now. In the movie “Mind Gamers,” a group of genius level students discover what could be one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs of all time: a wireless neural network, connected via a quantum computer, capable of linking the minds of every one of us. The students discovered that quantum theory can be used to transfer motor skills from one brain to another. This would be a first shareware for human motor skills.
While they indiscriminately share this technology, believing it to be a first step towards a new equality and intellectual freedom, they soon discover that they themselves are part of a much greater and more sinister experiment. They realize that dark forces have emerged that threaten to subvert this technology into a means of mass control.
“MindGamers” is a thriller that demonstrates that the impossible can be made possible in the field of mind control. The action and special effects makes the heavy content of the movie even more mind-blowing spectacular.
This movie is highly unusual in that the subject matter is not one that is simple black and white in explanation. Either you agree that it could happen in real life or disagree but your reasons either way are based on something for which you have no reality. The film’s director and co-writer Andrew Goth explains it this way, “Really, what we tried to deal with here is a multiple platformed piece of entertainment. So, we’re on one level where we can jump from different heights, then we’re on another level where you are trying to sort of integrate a connected tissue between two human beings. Then we have mass movement.” Goth’s co-writer Joanne Reay chimes in and adds; “There is a level of symbolism. If you take the biblical idea of falling and falling from grace or whatever, there is a sense that when you talk about falling, it has a negative connotation. It feels like it’s danger, it’s peril. The message of our film is when we fall, we fall forward. And sometimes taking that leap of faith, stepping off, going into the unknown, we might go somewhere better.”

People
who are into mind control and the possibility of one person transferring their
mental and motor skills via a quantum computer to another person and the other
person would then be able to perform the same skills at the same level will
find this movie very fascinating.
