The Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel was once again the host site of the 2017, 9th Annual “Women of Excellence Scholarship Luncheon.” The gala affair featured a glamourous red carpet that welcomed Hollywood stars. Political dignitaries and business luminaries and included a fashion show by Isabella Couture.
Entertainment was provided by the Beyoncé signed sister duo Choe X Halle Boilerplate.
Adele Henry, Bishop Montgomery High, will attend UCLA;
Briana Black, King Drew Medical Magnet High School, will attend Cal State Northridge;
Keiarah Monai Mitchell, King Drew Medical Magnet High School, will attend UCLA;
Kenedea Lee, Crenshaw Magnet Visual and Performing Arts, will attend UCLA;
Madison Rose Turner, Archer School for Girls, will attend University of Southern California;
Esmeralda Nava, Venice Senior High School, will attend Stanford University;
Faith Gray, Redondo Union High School, will attend U. of California, Irvine and
Yoshino Goto, Redondo Union High, will attend UCLA.
Manuela Testolini, founder and head of “In A Perfect World” Foundation;

The LadyLike Foundation is the brainchild of its creator and founder Leah C. Pump who serves as the President and CEO. The program offers year-round workshops, retreats, field trips, life coaching, outreach and scholarships to at risk young women and those who aren’t at risk but are seeking advancement. Ms. Pump has more than proven to be a beacon and light and hope in all the communities she serves.
