 Taylor Gang/Atlantic recording artist Wiz Khalifa has released his massively anticipated new single. “Something New (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign)” arrives today at all digital music retailers and streaming services. The track is the first single off his upcoming album to be released this fall.

   “Something New (feat. Ty Dolla $ign)” marks Wiz Khalifa’s first major release since 2014’s “Blacc Hollywood.” The single heralds the superstar rapper’s eagerly awaited new album, due to arrive everywhere this fall. The new track comes off the heels of his RIAA 8X PLATINUM hit “See you Again (ft. Charlie Puth)” achieving an impressive milestone of becoming the most watched video of all time with more than 3 BILLION views on YouTube.

      Known far and wide as an electrifying live performer, Khalifa recently rocked Chicago’s Lollapalooza with a hit-packed set that saw him joined on stage by none other than his “Something New” collaborator Ty Dolla $ign.
   



 His latest impressive hits include the RIAA gold certified single, “Pull Up (Feat. Lil Uzi Vert)” and the 2x platinum certified, #1 hip-hop hit, “Sucker For Pain” by Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Imagine Dragons with Logic and Ty Dolla $ign (Feat. X Ambassadors), found on “SUICIDE SQUAD: THE ALBUM,” Atlantic’s chart-topping musical companion to the 2016 film from Warner Bros. Pictures.




     Wiz Khalifa has of course made worldwide music history with 2015’s epochal hit single, “See You Again (Feat. Charlie Puth),” featured on Atlantic Records’ FURIOUS 7: ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK, the official musical companion to Universal’s record-breaking action-thriller. “See You Again” collected a long list of awards and honors in addition to its unprecedented popularity. The song has officially entered the history books as the one of the biggest singles ever, topping Billboard’s “Hot 100” for a stunning 12 weeks. 


     Now certified 8x platinum by the RIAA, “See You Again,” is indeed a planetary phenomenon, with streams in excess of over 845 million units worldwide. Along with its dual Billboard Music Awards triumph, the song was feted with the 2015 Critic’s Choice Award for “Best Song,” the 2015 Hollywood Film Award for “Hollywood Song Award,” a pair of 2015 Teen Choice Awards, three GRAMMY® Award nominations, two 2015 MTV Video Music Awards nominations, two 2015 American Music Awards nominations, and a 73rd Golden Globes Award nod as “Best Original Song.”
