Heralded as the best gospel album of this year, the project has made an impact with audiences. The album debuted at number #1 on both the Billboard Top Christian and Gospel Album Charts.
"A Long Way From Sunday" is the third release from Brown and shows his continued upward trajectory in his music career. Song after song, the album is balanced and well-rounded and is deserving of both critical and consumer accolades. Featured hits include the current top 10 single "Trust In You" and the Warryn Campbell produced "I Got That." Guest artists included Sho Baraka on "Lost," which is a fan favorite; Leandria Johnson on "Consumed;" Jonathan McReynolds and Travis Greene on "Every Time."
Brown will continue to travel and promote the project with performances around the countr. Never one to sit on his laurels, Brown continues to innovate and expand his brand. He recently launched a new inspirational web series called "Road To Victory" which airs each week on his offical YouTube channel (Visit AJBLive).
Brown also landed a starring role in the national stage play "Mama's Boy," written and directed by Priest Tyaire. The touring production, which also stars Johnny Gill, Robin Givens, Jackee, Shirley Murdock and more, will kick off in September and run throughout the fall.
"A Long Way From Sunday" follows Brown's smash album "Everyday Jesus" which garnered a historic ten Stellar Awards and their first Grammy, BET and Billboard Music Award nominations and is available wherever music is sold and streamed.
